Luke 1:1-4

The Gospel of Luke tells the greatest story ever told: the true story of Jesus Christ, His life, death, resurrection, and mission to seek and save the lost. Practical Takeaways

  • Make much of Jesus, not yourself. Like Luke, live with humility and seek to bring attention and glory to Christ rather than building your own platform or reputation.
  • Be a faithful friend.
Stay committed to the people God has placed around you – even through hardship, disappointment, and difficult seasons. Luke remained faithfully beside Paul through persecution and suffering.
  • Depend on the Holy Spirit and prayer.
Luke emphasizes how central prayer and the Holy Spirit were to Jesus’ life; we should likewise make prayer and dependence on the Spirit a daily priority
