John 5:1-15

In John 5:1-15, Jesus meets a man who had been helpless for 38 years and demonstrates that true healing and wholeness come from trusting in Him rather than relying on ourselves or the systems of the world. The passage also contrasts legalism with grace, showing that Jesus not only restores us but calls us to live differently because of the new life He has given us.

  • Put your hope in Christ, not yourself. We cannot fix our deepest problems through our own strength, good works, or worldly solutions; Jesus is the source of true healing and restoration.
