Zechariah and John demonstrate that genuine faith responds with obedience, praise, and a willingness to point others away from ourselves and toward Jesus.
Trust God’s promises, even when His timing is difficult. God remains faithful even when circumstances make His promises seem impossible or delayed.
Make time to stop and reflect on what God is doing. Don’t allow busyness to keep you from meditating on God’s Word and recognizing His work in your life.
Point people to Jesus. Like John the Baptist, our lives should direct attention away from ourselves and toward Christ, the source of salvation, forgiveness, light, and peace.
