Jude 1:5-7

Faith is not an issue of the mind, it is an issue of the heart(Psalm 95, Hebrews 3). Scripture warns believers not to harden their hearts, to avoid relying on past spiritual victories, and to faithfully proclaim the gospel in love, as defined by God rather than by culture.

Practical Takeaways

  1. Stay dependent on God. Yesterday’s victories do not guarantee today’s faithfulness; continue seeking the Lord and walking in obedience each day.
  2. Speak the truth in love. Genuine love shares the hope of the gospel and does not remain silent when people need to hear God’s truth. As 1 Corinthians 13 teaches, God defines love, and as 1 Corinthians 6:9–11 reminds us, His Word is both truth and the source of our hope.

Intro to the Seven Churches of Revelation

Revelation chapter 1 reveals the glorified Jesus Christ as the sovereign Lord who walks among His churches, knows their condition, and calls them to faithfulness as they await His return.
