Mark 1:16-22

Discipleship is the central call of the Christian life: following Jesus closely, being transformed by Him, and helping others follow Him as well. The first disciples are examples of how Jesus calls ordinary people into intimate relationship with Him before sending them out in ministry. While discipleship involves sacrifice and daily surrender, it ultimately leads to deep joy, spiritual growth, and a life filled with eternal purpose.

Practical Takeaways: True discipleship begins with spending intentional time with Jesus and allowing Him to transform your heart and priorities. As believers grow in intimacy with Christ, their lives naturally overflow into serving, encouraging, and leading others toward Him with joy and love.

Contender’s Gym Part 1

Faith is not an issue of the mind, it is an issue of the heart(Psalm 95, Hebrews 3). Scripture warns believers not to harden their hearts, to avoid relying on past spiritual victories, and to faithfully proclaim the gospel in love, as defined by God rather than by culture.
