Our Story
History of The Rock
Founded in 2003 by Pastor Ross Reinman, Calvary Chapel The Rock began as a small gathering in Sebastopol, California. With a steadfast commitment to the Bible, heartfelt worship, and authentic relationships, our community quickly grew, ultimately relocating to Santa Rosa in 2008. Pastor Ross faithfully led our church for 22 impactful years, leaving a legacy of passionate evangelism and devoted discipleship upon his passing in 2025. Today, under the leadership of Pastor Joe DuCharme and a committed pastoral team, The Rock continues to thrive, serving families and individuals from across Sonoma, Napa, and Marin counties.
From our earliest days to now, our vision remains clear: to teach God’s Word verse-by-verse, build genuine community, and share the hope of Jesus Christ locally and globally.
